Welcome
The Oklahoma Radio Kontrol Society (TORKS) was established in 1963. We are an Academy of Model Aeronautics club (AMA charter 1648) and an FAA-Recognized Identification Area (FRIA).
The Field is in northwest Oklahoma City, on the south side of Lake Hefner, midway between Meridian and Portland, a quarter mile east of the fire station, off S. Lake Hefner Dr.
Come by and see us fly. We’re a family-friendly club that holds cookouts and picnics each summer; check the events for dates.
Our Field is 12.3 acres in all, including 9 acres of grass and an asphalt runway 250 feet long by 32 feet wide. We also have a control line circle north of the parking lot.
